My buddy showed up to the range one day with this stock on his MP5 and I was shocked at how good it looked. I decided to get one for my AKV. While this stock still gives you the traditional triangle stock look, I added the rubber cheek rest and buttpad which just makes it more comfortable. The hinge was a little tricky at first but I emailed A3 Tactical for advice and they were quick to help me out. I might consider this stock again with my next build.. if my wife will allow it.

I wasn't a big fan of triangle stocks until I saw one of these at the range. The addition of the cheek rest and buttpad just make it modern enough for me to like it. It's extremely comfortable and I like how the buttpad stops the metal stock from smacking my receiver when I fold the stock. If you plan on SBRing one of your braced pistols, this stock is great. Always preferred the triangle stock on my WASR, but was tired of having to rig up a cheek rest. Got the additional buttpad and cheek mount, and I can enjoy all of the traditional look while making my rifle more comfortable to shoot.

I just don’t understand why they don’t use the same 1913 mounting system that they use for their other stocks, which utilizes two screws? The this piece of junk uses a small piece of keyway that you slide in to the pic rail, and the only thing that is holding it down or two tiny hex head screws , makes for very weak and shaky stock

I'm not into jmac customs and they're overly machined glamour looks stocks. This right here is the best the A3 tactical triangle folder is perfect. The closest to the original triangle stock but with a modern take. You'll be impressed with the machining.
