Fits perfectly on my PTR 91 (HK 91 clone). Very snug. Sturdy, high quality, aesthetically pleasing. 100% recommend. I’ll be getting some M Lok accessories to throw on. It is extended so the top piece on the extended part can be picatinny or m lok

I have PTR91 rifle that originally came with skinny G3 style hand guard. I didn't care for it so i switched it out for a HK91 style reproduction wide hand guard. It was $75 and honestly looked cheap made. I saw this AIM sports model and couldn't believe the price. I ordered it without a second thought. I received it after a few days and was very impressed when I opened the box. It fits my rifle perfectly. The finish and feel is nice. I wish my PTR91 had the same finish. Very nice product for anyone who has a PTR rifle.

After reading other reviews of this item I was unsure whether to buy this forend. I am glad that I did. Unlike some of the other reviewersI was able to install this with NO modifications necessary. I did have to remove the bayonet lug from the rifle in order to fit the front portionof mlok/piccatiny forward of the sight post. Otherwise it just takes a little finesse to install. Just start a little closer to the muzzle device than you would think neccesary. The tricky bit was slipping it past the sling point. It will go with a little ferschnagling. All in all I had it installed in less than an hour. I also had a second pair of hands to assist in the process. Fit and finish are good. Lightweight and attractive. I would certainly recommend this product. Just remember to work smarter, not harder.

This handguard will fit the century c308 rifle with some minor fitting, it requires the removal of a small amount of material in the front so it will allow it to fit around the front sight mount. Then drill and tap 1 10/32 screw 1 1/16 inches from the rear of the handguard at the same elevation as the front screw this will allow the screw to go in between the barrel and the cocking tube and when tightened it will cause the semicircular shape on the rear of the handguard to squeeze into the semicircular section on the front of the receiver when tightened it's cinches down rock solid on to the gun very tight, have done this with three cetme rifles so far and have had no problem a little bit of measuring and minor Gunsmithing anybody can do at their work bench. The people who reviewed this handguard and said it will not work at all should not own the rifle if they cannot figure out how to adapt the part to the equipment

PLEASE BEWARE!!! THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT FIT THE CENTURY ARMS C308. THE BACK END DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE, IT LITERALY COMES OF THE RECEIVER EVERY TIME YOU FIRE, NO MATTER HOW TIGHT THE FRONT SCREW IS. SEEMS WELL MADE, HOWEVER IT DOES NOT FIT THE CENTURY ARMS C308.

HK 91’s / G3’s and in my case through the use of a PTR 91 are known to worldwide as being more or less the second right hand or the left hand of freedom behind the FN FAL which is known to as the right hand of freedom because of their use even to this day in the fight for protection of freedom worldwide in more than 90 free countries around the world. These days with modernization of guns through the uses of polymers adjustable stocks from the Spuhr company available through Options planet, aluminum handguard and updated aiming systems the Swedish military has updated their own made under contract H&K G3’s that are still in use to this day which they refur to as an AK4 into updated into a AK4D. I first saw a H&K 91/ PTR 91 type rifle modernization into a AK4D on In Range TV with Ian and Karl where Ian contracted a company to make him a Left handed H&K/ PTR 91 type rifle. I highly recommend In Range TV’s shows available completely on Full 30 and some not restricted on YouTube. So after seeing Ian’s upgraded H&K 91 type rifle I decided that I needed to do the same thing with mine. I went for this handguard from Aim Sports because of it fourword section of M1913 Picatinny Rail to be able to mount a front back up iron sight to it. With the use of modern optics like the HoloSun’s that I’m running (also available through Opticsplanet) I’ll probably never need an iron back up sight, it’s just the idea that I can, and that it is there if I ever need it. Plus I’m running a range adjustable rear iron sight and the HoloSun’s that I’m running have a quick throw lever so I can just pull off the optic and put it back on without any loss in zero and use the iron sight for accurate aimed shots out to 900 yards and maybe beyond. I only gave this Aim Sports rail 4 of five starts because of, One I’m not a fan of hard to find Allen wrenches out in the field to remove and retighten Allen head mounting screws, blue lock tight is your best friend and works great if you’re never going to need to take it apart something out in the field. I usually make up replacement mounting screws with Philips head screws so it needed I can easily take apart and reassemble things with easily available tools out in the feild/ in country/ down range/ in the sand box and LE. Two, 4 of 5 stars because the height of the front Picatinny rail isn’t at the same height as the welded on Picatinny rail on my PTR 91. So you have to find or make some spacers to bring the height of the front rail up to the right height to be able to zero in the sights. (The rail height spacers are available through Opticsplanet) All in all the Aim Sports front handguard is a very good piece of equipment with highly comparable Magpul M-lock rails so I placed a Magpul M-lock sling swivel mount in on of the slots to mount a Larry Vickers Combat Aplacations sling on, (also available through Opticsplanet). 4 of 5 stars Three I had to do some very minor fit and finish filling to the rear end of the Aim Sports handguard to get it to fit properly so that the mounting hole lined up properly. The H&K 91/ PTR 91/ G3 is a classic battle rifle but very modular were with just sliding out a few mounting pins you can completely change the eas of use and fit and finish of by use of this Handguard and a Spuhr stock which is 5 of 5 stars excellent piece of furniture/ equipment which I highly recommend and is available through Opticsplanet. Please have fun shooting, collecting guns, protect the second amendment, support our troops and be safe. Oh one other thing, here in the currently over regulated state of California all you have to do is take a zip tie and zip tie the lever on the length of pull adjustment in place so that it’s not adjustable after you figure out the proper length of pull for you before you install the Spuhr stock on your H&K type rifle/ carbine because the Spuhr stock works on almost all of the H&K’s 91, 93, MP 5 and so on.
