   Now this feels and looks like a quality item, and I still can't believe the price! The finish on this is perfect, smooth and even. The weight did not make a significant difference, however, the feel, now we're talking! I could not wait to get rid of that green plastic thing, it made the entire rifle look an feel cheap. Now I can mount a bipod and an M-LOK light. This slid into place and fit on to my PTR 100 GI almost by itself, a little torque and it was done. Having the barrel in the open should also help with the cooling, and the rifle looks very up to date now. OK, now I'm going to commit, I'm buying this brand whenever I get around to my next AR build, this is rock solid stuff.

   Used on ptr kfr32 fit in perfectly. Works great very solid feels nice. Had to use my own rails though. A drawing with hole spacing and thread callout would be handy. Weighs only slightly more than the plastic hk handguard.

   Got this handguard after searching all over for a good one and having the hardest time. Got a similar one from HK Parts that was made for the ptr and didnt fit cuz it used the push pin that comes with the stock handguard. Tried to hacksaw and dremel a piece of the stock handguard to make a spacer but still no luck. It would just wobble and fall out of place. This one comes with a nut a bolt that if you tighten completely will fit perfectly. Now I have a nice vertical grip and am getting the flashlight next. This is probably the best C308 handguard you can get in terms of money and quality.

   Very nice clean design. Well made and I like that it has a similar look to a factory handguard but makes it more modern and useful. I paired it with an M-LOK 1913 rail to mount a bipod. It took a gamble because some say it would only fit the Century C308 with modification. I was able to mount it without modification. I simply just tightened down the mounting screw. Could you do it with a spacer modification? Yes, but I think most people are just not tightening down the screw enough. It is aluminium so it has some flex which when you tighten it down hard enough it works. I think this is a great option over the factory HK/CETME wide handguard which can be expensive and hard to find.

   The threads on the mounting bolt only come about half way up. I tightened it all the way down but it still wouldnt bend to fit the C308 as I had read in other reviews and seen on a video or two. I had to make a thick washer out of some scrap leather, cut to size. With the added thread clearance it fits snugly. Finally, something that works

   It took some time getting here, but with that small issue the Customer service from Opticsplanet was great and the product is great. Very impressed over all. I am placing this on my C308 Sporter. A few minor modifications were needed for the fit. Quality is great, looks great, really adds functionality to the rifle. Solves the heat problem from the barrel really well. Overall very happy and impressed.
