Got here on time, and fit without any modifications. And it fits just right not to loose or to small. Installed within 5 minutes. Did not come with instructions, but it's a real quick friendly user installation.

What can you do to up the entertainment factor of a Ruger 10/22? Accessorize the heck out of it and it'll make the perfect faux tactical rifle. OK, we're never going to war with a 22 cal. carbine, but with a banana mag, a tac quad rail, a good red dot, light and laser- you suddenly look very mean, even if you can't consummate the marriage! I did all this and more to my wooden stock 10/22 including the rare addition of a tubular FN FAL bayonet. Did you know that it fits snugly and securely to certain muzzle devices, and is the perfect contrast with the Quad Rail. Form over function wins the prize with this modest rifle.

The mounting screws that go over the bcg will prevent the bolt from cycling. There is also a visible bend in the middle, meaning what ever is mounted towards the muzzle. Will be lower than by the chamber.

I have this mounted on a 10/22 along with an ATI Fiberforce stock. It fits really well, with very few modifications. All I ended up having to do was remove the top handguard (now unneeded with the rails covering the top of the barrel anyway) from the stock and reverse the bottom rail (due to the built in sling mount on the front of the stock). Both things were very easy to do and installation took a total of about 10 minutes, even with no instruction in the box. Other reviews complained about having no screws but mine came with longer ones than standard to fit the thicker material of the rail. For the low price, it might be worth trying it on some other similar after market stocks also. I am pretty sure it would fit right up on the Hogue rubber overmold ones that taper towards the front, or the Choate Dragunov. Just about any of them where the front end of the stock is similar to the original (and is the same length) should work with little modification. You might have to do something with the bottom front rail like I did, but it's just 4 hex screws holding it on and easily either removed or switched around. Also there is included a spacer (included) to put between the regular barrel and the rail system, which can support the top rail if you delete the small bottom piece entirely. The only thing I didn't like about this rail system is that it added a lot of weight towards the front of the gun. It is mounted on a gun with the ATI fiberforce stock which is already lighter towards the rear due to the skeletonized butt. This adds almost all of it's weight in front of the magazine, and since that's where most of the attachment points are, any added weight is going to mostly go there too. It's not a huge gripe,,but something to think about.Keep in mind also, this does eliminate the usability of at least the rear factory sight. Not really a problem, since you're probably adding something with the rails anyway, but also something to mention. All in all I think this thing is a lot more versatile than they give it credit for.

Nice picatinny quad rail, easy to install and lots of space. Rubber rail covers fit to loosely so must be shimmed to keep from falling off. No longer screws provided for scope mount that is already predrilled in 10/22 Carbine, factory Ruger screws are approximently 0.200" too short to properly engage threaded holes due to rail being thicker than Ruger scope mount rail.

Fit perfect right out of the package and easy to install came with everything needed.
