Very happy with this Blitzkrieg sight blade. The size is close to the standard Sight blade that came with the Magpul MBUS. The green color provides a nice contrast and holds its charge well when charged with a flashlight. I am a big fan of blitzkrieg sight products

These are pretty standard front sight post. They are about .08" wide, just a little wider than a standard front sight. I got the luminous sight. shows up well in daylight. Holds a glow for a while at night after being in daylight.

This post is great for acquisition and in low light. I also have the pointed top model that I like even more on my carbine. These replaced a tritium style post for night use with no regrets and I would recommend either style of post. My color preference is orange due to background contrast.

The sight itself works ok but the install tool I received was damaged. It looked like it had been used and I had to order a new one just to install the sight. If I had gotten a undamaged tool I would have given 5 stars instead of 3 stars.

I have purchased several different Blitzkrieg sight posts, and this was disappointing. With only once face of a square post painted (and 3 black), it requires a full revolution of adjustment to be able to see the painted face again. This drastically decreases the granularity of the elevation adjustment to a quarter of what it normally is, making sight adjustment only a quarter as precise. My triangular tipped painted sight post from Blitzkrieg was painted on 2 sides, and that sight post is a blade, not a traditional post. This sight could have been designed to be colored on all 4 sides, or at LEAST front and back. The post I got is a green (glow in the dark) one. The glow is moderately strong and lasts at least 8 hours. This product could be 5 stars if all 4 faces of the post were painted.

This front sight post is easy to install, especially with the included tool. The yellow/green stripe is easy to acquire, and the fact that it glows when you hit it with a flashlight is a really cool feature. Would definitely recommend if you're an iron sight shooter. The downside of the paint only being on one side is that you lose some elevation granularity when zeroing the rifle (in that only 1 out of every 4 clicks has the yellow/green stripe facing you) but unless you're wanting to do precision shooting this isn't going to matter in practice.
