BCM is certainly a great manufacturer. All parts are solid. They come well oiled within the packaging (I assume to prevent rust.) The grip feels very comfortable and durable. All parts fit well. In the price range I think it's about the best parts kit.

It seems BCM really pays attention to their qualtiy control. You can really tell the difference from the cheapo lpk's. I wish they would include the option for different pistol grips as I'm partial to the mod 1, but that's a very minor issue. Still the best lpk in my opinion. Optics Planet always coming thru with the best price as well. Winning combo!

This may or may not help you decide to purchase this lower kit, but what I used this kit for was everything but the trigger group. The reason I did this? I already purchased a drop in trigger group so I didn't really need it but I wanted a kit with trigger so I had a back up or to switch out another stock trigger group with this one. Now, to the parts I did use. I couldn't use the pistol grip due to it interfered with my trigger guard. My lower is billet and they made the guard to point downward slightly so there is a small lip on the grip (you can see it in the stock pic) that makes contact and keeps it from seating properly. I could have trimmed it off but I had a spare Magpul to use instead. The grip is very well made and I like the feel, I think its shorter and fatter than my Magpul but don't quote me on that. I am going to use it on another build at some point. So, now to the pieces I did use. They all worked like a charm. The assembly was a snap, (btw I am not a gunsmith) so this kit was very user friendly and anyone with a little common sense and mechanical know how "should" have no trouble with install. A couple complaints are the the safety selector switch has some play in it. I like a crisp safety but its not to sloppy to cause a safety or performance issue. And the mag release binds just slightly to be noticeable but not affect its operation. These two issues could be just due to me( i don't build weapons for a living). So, take this as you will. My opinion? Overall I like this kit, it is very well made and I would buy this again. You may have different results, just be aware of what I ran into. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the safety and mag release.

I honestly can't tell the difference between this trigger and the stock trigger on my M&P sport. I believe it's the same hammer. Easy install and we'll packaged. Seems a bit much for the price but that's the cost of not worrying about it failing.

I’ve used this BCM Enhanced LPK on the last 2 lowers I’ve assembled and have been very pleased with the quality and function. Before, I was using cheap budget kits because everyone was saying “miL-sPeC iS MiL-SpEc” but just like everything else, I’ve learned to spend a little extra and “buy once, cry once.”

I spent the extra money to get bcm quality. I wanted to check the fit of the pistol grip on my anderson lower, and found a not so nice defect at the heel of the grip. I try not to be hyper critical of things, but I guess it's something I will have to live with…I am not going to return the lower parts kit, because i got stuck with a lemon grip.
