Lightweight, compact and very comfy for shooting. The expanded width makes a world of a difference for me in providing a decent cheek weld. Can't recommend enough! Will use this on all my future builds.

I use Bravo Company Manufacturing for all of my furniture for each and every AR build. Their quality products fit! Each piece is consistent. When I open the package I know what I am getting each and every time.

Like the stability it gives me it was kinda a pain in the couch putting it on the buffer tube cause it needs a pin to lock it into place instead of most everyone else that you just need to pull up hard enough to get it on that said it's rock solid and a bit sticky moving up and down the tube but it has zero wobble in the stock

To some degree, butt stocks are a personal preference and can be tailored to the individual's needs. I've used Magpul CTR's for quite some time but have always found them a bit on the bulky / clunky side for use with hard plates. While they do have a generous butt pad, I think in my experience, at least for my stocky 5ft 9in frame, they weren't quite optimal. I also had to shim them using delrin strips I cut to eliminate the rattle on mil-spec tubes. Then there's the durability issue, the CTR's locking mechanism, while not weak, is not as robust as BCM's design, which can take some serious abuse, weather being dropped when fully equipped or mortaring the rifle in an emergency situation should it occur, the testing shows BCM's locking mechanism to be the most durable on the market. What I really like about the BCM's stocks is the streamlined design, they simply don't snag on my plate carrier, weather running the rifle in a traditional vertical hold using the LVPO or running it at 45 degrees to use my off-set RDS, it fits nicely in the shoulder pocket without that occasional misalignment I would have with the Magpul CRT's as the bottom would catch periodically. BCM went through a lot of testing to refine the bottom shape to give you as much area and height as possible without compromising use with plate carriers. The stock works equally well with and without plate carriers. As others have commented, the larger cheek weld surface area gives you a conformable interface that's pretty consistent (depending on the height of the optics). The VBOST notch is a nice bonus. The only thing I find a little quirky is that BCM forced the DQ ring longitudinal to the rifle instead of allowing it to rotate but using the D shaped QD ring instead of the rectangular QD rings, it still works just fine and perhaps that was their intent, to avoid rotation / twisting of the QD as they do have tendency to do that on the CTR's as they are not rotation limited. This is a great butt stock, I would argue the most well designed on the market for use with AR's / M4's, it just works, it's simple, rugged and well-shaped, particularly for use with plate carriers.

Quality and fit are perfect. This stock looks and feels great. No wobble whatsoever. The only minor downside is that it is so snug that it can get caught up in the buffer threads if closed completely. Not worth taking off a full star for me. I am very happy.

BCM butt stocks aren’t just the cool guy military furniture I once believed, they actually work impressively well. I haven’t tried the B5 Bravo and a few other well reviewed stocks. Limited to stock-talk and to be completely candid, this BCM mod 0 is the sh:#. The description and reviews say it all but I’ll spill my blurb anyway. The 8.9-9 oz are negligible The BCM Bravo SOP MOD 0 hit all the right notes. Balance & form with fit & function. Looks great and performs as a well thought out carbine interface. I dig the BCM rockstar meets chevron designed butt pad grip surface. Subtle yet bada$$. The large inline adjustment lever and it’s simple lockout installation method sealed the deal for me and I can go on. Smooth feel against the face with a great cheek weld. Absolutely no edges to get caught on. Very confined space friendly. Even the rubber butt pad is perfect and not slick nor sticky. Mounted on a BCM Intermediate buffer tube with almost zero play. No rattle but there is just a little movement. I’ve spent a few hundred from MagPul CTR, MOE SL/ UBR (all loose), SI Viper (fits snugly but the pad is an extra $15 on $49), Fab Defense GL Core S CQB’s (small/ lightweight, some rattle with a sticky butt pad-maybe fits commercial tubes better) and most recently a few alloy minimalist stocks (slick- no play no adjustment bolt ons). I’m a recovering weight weenie that at one time was seeking individuality via Ar15 furniture. I’ve since learned my lesson$. Some folks go to Harvard, I bought stocks. Buttstocks! Education was pretty expensive but the good word has finally reached me. Bravo BCM! Bravo! My next yard sale will include some Ar15 butt stocks. I’m ordering another BCM Bravo SOP Mod 0 for my other shooter just before launching this review. I hope you found my review helpful. Truly great design. It was a feel good purchase.
