I purchased this for a build on a lower that I was using a drop in trigger . It worked perfectly. Exactly what I needed and I didn't have a bunch of left over parts. I did purchase a Hogue grip and needed a bolt for the grip which Hogue does not supply.

I was building a rifle from scratch, but I had planned to use a drop in trigger. So I didn't want Parts like the trigger group or too many spare parts. I would say that, despite just being standard Parts, they just seem a little more high quality than a basic Milspec kit. Just subtle details that make the firearm more pleasurable to use. Still, I didn't buy it because they are slightly nicer. I just trust CMMG to make parts that fit well and work. While there are cheaper kits that can do the job, these do inspire confidence. If you need a minimal parts kit that you can fully trust, this might be the right kit to buy.

Lo e the deal. Good to have spare parts for an AR15.You really can't buy these AR15 lower parts in the stores,just a few. Built another and of course the spring flies out somewhere. I'm sure it's happened to many of us. Lol

I got two of these kits to build economic replica's of the rifles we used in service. The kits provide a very good fit and feel for every point except the polymer magazine release button. The material and feel of every other component was a familiar match to the original M16 and came in nicely segregated bags to assist in the proper assembly.

I've used CMMG components in the past. The company puts out parts that are in spec the vast majority of the time. These lower parts kits are no exception. I have used them frequently, and have recommended them to friends. Would I buy them in the future? Yes I would.

I have used similar lower parts kits from other makers. This one fit perfectly as did all of the others but the finish on the CMMG kit was far better than all of the others. From now on this will be my go to LPK. I will definitely purchase this kit from now on. It is more than worth the few extra dollars!!!
