Lefties get the reloading speed of righties when using this ambidextrous mag release. It literally took me less than 2 minutes to install without tools. There's no excuse for non ambidextrous rifles today, and this well made device from a reputable manufacturer eliminates any doubt

This product works flawlessly and is super simple. The strike industries one is an inferior product in my mind. It is easy to drop a mag (some filing might be needed) and holds a mag securely. What else

The part works well and feels super sturdy. It installs just like your regular mag catch too. Only issue I've run into is depending on your choice of bolt release, the bottom of the release might interfere with release. So far though, I've had no accidental releases running drills. It plays very nicely with standard "ping pong paddle" releases.Overall, I really like the simplicity of it a lot. If you don't have a lower that is specifically built with Ambidextrous controls in mind, this is a great way to add the versatility to any lower that is fast becoming the norm.

This is my favorite left side mag catch, i have tried several including KAC and other “name brand” alternatives. From an aesthetics point it blends in to AR receiver, almost looks milspec. From a functionality perspective it operates smooth, no hangups or catching on the lower

I have Norgon's on several lowers. It's the only ambi mag release I use, until now. The Cmmg isn't billet like the Norgon, but it's still really good quality. Dimensionally they are identical (I'm a machinist, so I'm anal about that shyte). It's either a casting or forging, but doesn't have the production markings to be a MIM part. The spring is maybe 5%-10% weaker, but it's imperceptible when in use. The serrations are defined without being too sharp, unlike cheaper clones which are hot garbage. It's actually darker black than the OG, for all the matchy matchy snobs. At 40% of the cost of the original, I don't think I'll be buying another Norgon unless the Cmmg has a catastrophic failure.

Just installed it, did a couple dry mag changes to see how well it works and i think im about to order a bunch more. I used a stock milspec geissele spring bc its what was already installed and i noticed some giys say it was too stiff bc of that but it seems to work really well in this run of the muck milspec lower. If anything changes ill update this but i really like so far.
