Coated bolt carrier group (full auto version) for AR15, M16, or M4 machined from Mil-Spec 8620 aircraft quality steel with shrouded firing pin and Mil-Spec chrome lined interior. BCG includes the proper chrome lined and heat treated gas key. Gas key is secured to carrier with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Specs. This ensures a strong staking and proper gas system functioning. The bolt assembly is CNC machined from Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158 steel and shot peened for increased strength per Mil-Spec; includes tool steel extractor with spring and viton O-ring; firing pin chromed finished with firing pin retaining pin and cam pin. Toolcraft makes Cryptic BCGs, and Cryptic adds the magic touch. Basically, think of the mil-spec BCG with a phosphate finish, chromed interior, reliable gas seal, cleanly staked key, chromed firing pin, HPT and MPI'd bolt… all of this, but without the phosphate finish which is a pain to clean. Instead you get a non chipping, very hard finish on the outside, without compromising the chromed dimensions where it matters. This finish is slippery when dry and beyond black ice when lubed up. One easy wipe and it's good as new.On a personal note, got lucky and the part visible when the BCG is installed is a nice dark bronze color, the wacky blue green part is in the back and not visible usually. But like it says, every BCG will be different in this coating choice.
