These sights seem to be completely acceptable. As many have pointed out, the rear is not an A2 sight and is not adjustable for elevation. It also leaves plenty of space rear of the sight to accommodate the charging handle. Finish is rough. I am comparing this against what I have on my other rifle, Scalarworks Peak fixed irons.The front sight was missing its screw and doesn't have a pink screw insert like every other DD front sight I've ever seen. Unclear if this is a change from DD. I've reached out to both OpticsPlanet and DD regarding this but haven't heard back yet.

Its's a Daniel Defense product, you get what you pay for. These have a great field of view, are clear and easy to acquire on target. I love the Mil-Spec Plus coating on them as it matches some of the other parts I use as well.

Sturdy set of iron sights. Bought this set of sights for my Daniel Defense MK18 Short barrel rifle. Look good and have a great sight picture. I use them as back ups with a aim point red dot. Thought they would sit too high to use with a red dot but they work fine.

As the title states, DD does not produce a bad product. These are on my primary fun gun and get absolutely beat on, without failing. They hold 0 and do not move even after being tossed on the ground and chewed up.

Yes I would suggest these, reason for 4 of 5 starts is that the tension slotting for these is just massive and they do not tighten up until the last 3/4 turn of the set screw and without any info from DD about that they “seemed” to be out of spec at first but they are not. Once you get them to the very end of the tension they are rock solid. Wouldnt hurt for DD to add a few notes about it. Installed on Geissle set up so the rails are in spec also.

Ordered and picked 2 day shipping. Took over 72 hours to be picked and shipped. Finally got the package. No sights. But I did get someone else's 50 rounds of .380. OpticsPlanet has the worst fulfillment and customer service on earth. This is my 3rd time ordering something through them. Never again. It will take over a week to unfuck this and I will get to restitution or refund. They will just tell me to be patient. 0 for 3 on successfully fulfilling and delivering an order on time.
