This kit has a different pistol grip and safety selector other than what’s pictured. They are a nice upgrade so I’d consider that a plus. Standard LPK’s can be had for <$50 but the fit and finish is second to none, the Magpul trigger guard, ambi safety, DD pistol grip, etc all cover the difference in price. The trigger is one of the best “standard” LPK triggers I’ve felt. Everything went together 100% in my PSA lower. I expect that it will shoot reliably. Plus it’s made in the US!

This is the best feeling lower parts kit that I have used. Trigger feels smooth. I didn’t even have to change grips, which I have always done with mil-spec parts kits. Definitely worth the extra money as compared to other lower parts kits.

All the bits you need for an AR lower. As titled, it does not come "as pictured" The safety selector is the same ambidextrous design as is found on Daniel Defense rifles and the pistol grip is like is found on their rifles EXCEPT it lacks the built in trigger guard (this has been substituted with a Magpul trigger guard). The trigger is only a mil-spec, but I'm a fan of it. The reset was a little gritty but with a few hundred cycling's it smoothed out a lot. Straight from the install break was as crisp and clean, and weight as light as you could ever hope for in a mil-spec trigger.

I bought this lower parts kit to work in conjunction with my DD lower. For the most part, the parts were of good quality and to spec. I came across five issues. One issue was that my lower wouldn't allow the front take down pin to slide in so I had to dremel the hole in the lower to get it to fit since the take down pin was to spec. Not a crazy issue since tightness means accurate but when you cant even get the take down pin into the hole, there is an issue. The second issue that I had was that the image DOES NOT reflect all the components that you are buying. In this image, the safety selector is NOT an plastic ambi which is what I received. The third issue was the magazine catch that I received was not an AR magazine catch. It would not even fit in the actual groove much less line up with the pin hole. The gunsmith that I took my lower to told me that he doesn't know what it goes to but it wouldn't fit on any AR platform. The fourth issue that I had that some how I only received one screw for the ambi safety that it came with so only one side could be attached. The fifth issue that I came across was that the pistol grip that I received was the actual DD pistol grip and not the standard A2 as pictured in this image.For the large price point that you spend on this lower parts kit, having these issues is unacceptable. I can understand one issue but two needless to say five altogether is just ridiculous. I would select from a difference manufacturer next time which is a shame because up until now, I loved DD products but cheaping out on items and keeping such a large cost is ridiculous.

Didn't include the front takedown pin. I sorted the whole kit into magnetic cups and it just wasn't there. Had to dremel the end of the slotted pin through the hammer

The parts that did come were of good quality but only 1 screw for the trigger guard was included, so that was a bit disappointing.
