Buy the kit, slap it into a lower and go have fun! I put a little over 100 rounds through this with absolutely no failure.I was a little hesitant about buying this because of the price but it has so far exceeded my expectations. I plan to order more and build out a few of these.

Assembled the lower and slapped some sights on the upper, lubed her up and gave a nice function check. Everything seemed fine running until about 40 rounds in. Hard stop. Failed to fully unlock; a bad one. Almost like the bolt face expanded or morphed in the barrel. Same ammo i shoot out of all my cheap builds runs for them all day no problem.Since the gun was assembled and fired I would have to go through a factory warranty for anything. I guess this time I “got what I paid for”

Now, after 1000 rounds through thos rifle with no problems, no misfires. Del ton makes a quality product. One of the best lpk and fantastic clean breaking fcg. Bcg runs great, properly staked.. Upgraded charging the charging handle per my preference. I do highly reccomend all Del Ton products. Had to add CA compliant hellfighter kit per the wonderful laws of my current state of residence.. happy building!

I decided to try one of these for the price,had my gunsmith assemble it for me. The gunsmith had told me that the bolt carrier group was used and showed me the metal shavings with the breech open. He also had said the bolt carrier came out of another rifle. When i called Del-Ton, they denied that the part was used and didn't send out a new part. They had claimed that the shavings were a part of the milling process and test firing.This is no way to keep customers and wont be buying this brand no more, I guess you get what you pay for. Del-Ton should be called the cheap rifle Co. Other than that looks cool.
