I had the old version of the ARFX in the full-lenght setup. I was never a fan of how the d-ring threaded into the stock, I felt it was too skinny of a thread to hold up to any substantial impact. The bolts that covered up the other attachment points was also tacky. The machined QD holes are a welcomed upgrade. This rifle feels much more stable with a sling vs. the old style. The length of pull was the biggest reason I bought this stock. Being in CA, we have to have fixed stocks on our featureless builds, and it's difficult to find a non-A2 length fixed stock. This stock I think is perfect for most shooters 6' and under. I am 5'11" and a A2 style stock is way too long for me. Very easy to install, took about 20 minutes to remove my old stock and put the new one on. You will need an air compressor or duster can to slide the foam onto the buffer tube.

Fit on this stock is great. I found it incredibly easy to install. Even with the bit of fighting it took to get the pad over the buffer tube (easier than putting a grip on a handlebar!) I have found one small issue and that is, as a new piece the foam actually rubs the charging handle. I’m sure this will fix itself over time. But be aware. Other than that I have been thrilled with it!

Very tight fit no wiggle at all! it is married to a Sharps bros lower and the quality shows for both items. used with other lowers with same great results! will buy again

I've had ACE stocks for many years and bought this one as it's the new design with integrated swivel sling mounts. Just like all my other ACE stocks this one has high quality manufacturing and very solidly mounts to the lower. If you want a fixed length stock, this one is highly recommended
