Upgrading your firearm with the DoubleStar Strongarm Pistol Tube Assembly ensures your firearm is compatible with the latest in tech and performance. With an outside diameter of 1.19″, these AR15 Lower Parts by DoubleStar are compatible with most AR15 length buffer springs and work alone or in conjunction with the Strongarm Pistol Brace. However, those are the only two features you’ll find on this piece. The DoubleStar Strongarm Pistol Tube Assembly includes a non-rotating swivel pocket in the rear of the tube or our Ace SOCOM Lock Nut system that completely eliminates the possibility of the tube coming loose during use. Its advanced, one-piece design ensures it will deliver the proper lockup between the buffer and sync shaft every time so you can focus on more important aspects of your build. Also, it features an AR-15 pistol buffer and spring, so you know it’s up to the task. Enhance the quality of your build when you install the DoubleStar Strongarm Pistol Tube Assembly. If you by any buffer tube it should be 7075. It is twice as strong. They came out with 6061 tubes for commercial spec buffer tubes specifically. In that instance they were twice the thickness so it was probably an acceptable substitute. Now many manufacturers use 6061, but none of the big name high quality companies do, for very good reason. 6061 is half the strength of 7075. Also the castle nut that came with this kit is the worst castle nut i've ever seen. It isn't threaded the entire length of the nut only on a small portion at the end? I'm currently trying to sell this kit I never even installed it.
