I got this for my Daniel Defense upper/Franklin Armory Binary lower and it’s a combination I’ve only hoped to find. Holding sites on the target while firing in binary mode is much easier with this stock. Would definitely recommend for a generalized reduced recoil or use with a binary trigger!

Came with two inserts. One for Mil Spec buffer tubes (installed) and one for commercial buffer tubes. Great look on my AR and allows two more swivel attachment points. I use this on my 50 Beowulf deer rifle and with the muzzle brake and the heavy buffer spring, it kicks like a 5.56mm. Great price from Optics Planet and came before I was expecting it. FAB Defense makes an older version but I like the looks of this one and the way they provide the inserts for both size buffers as opposed to the "one size fits all" version.

I have not been able to slap this on a higher caliber rifle like a 308 or 6.5 creedmoor bolt gun, but we have tested it on a 6.5 Grendel bolt action chassis. Without adjusting the spring from them middle setting we were able to notice a reduction in muzzle climb. The piston type action tends to keep the rifle a little more level and not as much muzzle lift. THIS IS NOT NIGHT AND DAY SO DON'T EXPECT THAT!But, it does make a difference if your looking to mitigate a little muzzle climb. The 6.5 Grendel is a mild case, so recoil to the shoulder was not really that noticeable with or without it.I'm really interested in if it also reduces recoil of a 308/6.5CM in a bolt gun chassis. There really isn't any AR style buttstocks that will absorb recoil. Adaptive Tactical makes one, but it rattles like crazy.The FAB Defense GL-Core series is nice tight fit on buffer tubes and the Impact shows promise for muzzle climb and recoil mitigation.My $.02 hope that helps others on the same quest.

I recently had shoulder reconstruction surgery. I needed a buttstock that would help absorb the kick from my AR. This item came as a recommendation from a local Pro Shop Expert in my area. Once I attached it and took my AR out to the range I immediately felt the difference from my stock buttstock. If you have had the "Army Grade Shoulder Reconstruction Surgery" (if you know, you know), look at this. It has made it possible for me to actually enjoy my AR again, and I can put 50+ rounds in like I used to before surgery.
