Apparently I have a carbine type setup on my SKS. This stock did not fit with my Norinco SKS. I know this isn’t a fault of the product. But the low star is because of the lack of information on the stock description, in that it is only compatible with certain barrel lengths. I reached out with other messages and feedback and never received a response. So the low star can also include a gap in customer service once a product is paid for.

Looks amazing. Solid item. Very pleased. Had to do a little filing of plastic to get the gas tube fitted into the plastic cover, but still worked good. Very comfortable ergonomic upgrade for a great rifle.

Great up-grade. Not my 1st SKS up-grade, definitely the best. Was able to install additional rail on the bottom of forend. Now my forward grip is closer, and my bi-pod goes on the factory rail. Bob's your uncle, done deal. All around hi-quality from end to end. When it comes to Fab Defense, Magpul is their only rival. Might be pricey but you get what you pay for.

Fits perfectly, looks great, very comfortable, well made. The folding stock makes it easy to transport. The forward picatinny rails made it easy to fit optics, lights and lazer. Much more fun to shoot and looks like a newer more modern rifle.

Recently purchased this stock as an upgrade for my Yugoslavian M59-66 SKS. I've got to say that this is a fantastic stock for the SKS rifle, albeit more costly than some others… it makes up for that in finish and features.Pros:Very ergonomic. Built-in magazine release works great, and is also removable if you have mags with an integrated release on them (like the Promag Archangels.)It is well designed, the top rail section on the gas tube allows for iron sight use or mounting of a scout style scope or red-dot. The side folding and M4 telescoping rear is great, perfect adjustability there.One very cool thing that I noticed was that you can retain your original cleaning rod with this stock, which isn't the case with most aftermarket stocks that I know of. To install or remove it, you will need to loosen the front action screw a little bit, then once the cleaning rod is in place – simply tighten that screw back down and you are good to go.My only complaint was that there were no instructions included in the box…. but there are a few videos on youtube on how to put it together. On my Yugo, I had to purchase a slightly longer front screw for the action retaining block, but it was easily found at the local hardware store and was .25 cents pocket change for a couple different lengths.Overall, I give it Five stars for features and quality of design – A great stock for the old SKS!
