Compliments the aesthetics to my Savage 110BA Stealth WinMag. The weight and size of this item has little to no effect on any negative rifle performance. The spring loaded shaft is very efficient when deployed and returned for concealment. I did install the butt-stock on a FAB Defense stock. I do not know if it fits other brands. This butt-stock is sturdy and well made. Able to withstand the elements and the punishment of duty. Very Positive tool for rapid deployment of rear stability on your weapon. Extremely Useful.

This is a perfect solution to anyone who loves to perfect precision shots at any distance. This Mon-pod if used in conjunction with a good quality Bi-Pod, will definitely improve your accuracy under most any conditions. The rifle stands alone until ready for you to send the shot. A must have in any hunting expedition or anti terrorist removal. God Bless the USA and thanks for The Israeli manufacturers for making this product available. All My Fab Defense Products from the Mako Group are great add on's, and upgrades to any platform. "It looks extremely well on the Fab Defense Survival Butt-stock with the 10 round backup magazine."

""""ATTENTION"""" THESE WILL ONLY FIT A MAKO GROUP BUTTSTOCK""""". I like the IMI/ Mako Buttstock design, and have them on all my AR's. I had planned on only using these at the range during sight in. But, after installing it, I liked the added weight on the rear of the weapon, and have left it on the .556, and the 300 Black Out. The .308, and .50 Beowulf are heavy enough without it, but I use them on the table. They have a positive lock-up on the Mako Buttstock, and it is a Snap (no pun intended) to put on or take off. The push button release on the left side allows for a quick, course adjustment, and the knurled knob on the bottom does a good job on the fine adjustment. Installation / removal, takes all of 5-10 seconds. I bought 3 these this time, because I got tired of my Brother-in-law, "Borrowing" one all the time, so his birthday present is a sure fit! If you don't have a lead sled, etc, and use a bi-pod, I think you will use it, and like it as much as I do.

This is a cool addition , well made, not rock solid but definitely helps. If anyone is wondering if you can swap the base pad for a different style, the answer is yes . You will notice there is no release button (for the pad like it is on the stock). It is more or less a friction fit. Push down from the top and it will slide off. I had to tap mine with a nylon hammer to get it started but it was simple enough. Some instructions in the package would have saved me some head scratching trying to figure it out.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THING!!!! It's modular, slips right into my stock (GL SHOCK or ANY GL stock) and is quite solid, it has just a little play, but it helps with loading on the bipod, and with the shock it doesn't move anyway, the stock does the work really….I think it's right on par with the Atlas monopod and with this, I don't need to drill a stock or have a pic rail on the bottom, so I think it's ideal in it's NEVER in the way till I want to deploy it….Just overall a REALLY nice addition to my rifle, and again, FAB Defense is a fantastic company, though admittedly a lot of the stuff is geared towards AK's now it seems, there's some nice stuff still that they do for the Yanks weapon of choice….

I spent 3 hours machining the butt of my archangel stock to fit this thing, filing in a dovetail V and i was very happy with the end result. Until i took it to the range. It survived the first day, but started to slip, 18 rounds 140 grain 7mm rem mag, apollo S muzzle brake. I stepped up to 162 gr. And the pogo bent. Now i am looking for a replacement in aluminum or stainless steel very frustrating when your right there on edge of your shot and the pogo retracts because its made of inferior plastic. Great engineering, bad people trying to save weight and money on materials.
