Well built solid construction. Easy to adjust and gets you on target fast every time. Ordered 2 more after I got it mounted. Works good especially for talker scopes to keep you from hunting for your sight .

Good price, easy installation, sturdy, no gun smithing required. I would buy again.

Stock is rather sturdy and rigid surprisingly given the adjustments that you can do. The cheek rest/riser can wiggle just a little if your intentionally moving back and forth but fits wonderfully.

I bought the RAPS buttstock to replace the original A2 stock. Installation was a breeze, fit was snug and perfect. I’m adding a 34 mm main tube scope and needed the adjustable cheek piece for a proper cheek weld. Adjustments are easy, no loose or noisy parts. I’m very pleased with the RAPS.

I went for an A2 to this buttstock on a rifle i finished building. Easy to install and looks great. I'm going to paint the rifle so didnt care what color I got it in.

I was looking for a precision rifle stock to use on an AR-15 type rifle build that was not too heavy, didn't break the bank, and provided basic adjustments in LOP and cheek riser. The rifle was built with a lightweight, small diameter free float handguard, and a 18" carbon fiber barrel with rifle length gas system, so I wanted a trimmer buttstock that was in keeping with the rest of the build. The gun is intended to be a pleasant plinker, medium varminter and light/small game hunter. I installed this stock on a MIL-spec rifle receiver extension tube. The stock is well made, and the install was extremely easy and took about 15 minutes. The rifle adapter was a little snug on the receiver extension tube, but a few light taps with a plastic mallet seated it home readily. The stock itself slid right on over the tube with no force required. The two attachment screws threaded in easily and tightened nicely with the included wrenches. When the screw that threads into the back end of the extension tube was secured, it removed any gaps between the adapter/receiver/stock for a pretty clean fit. The stock itself is rock solid with no movement on the tube. As for any complaints, I have a couple. The tension wheel is supposed to set the distance the buttplate springs out when you release the latch, but it doesn't really work. The extension spring overpowers it, and the buttplate shoots out to full extent even with the wheel tightened securely. The tension wheel does indeed take most, but not quite all, of the movement out of the cheek riser and buttplate. There's still a very small amount of movement in both the cheek piece and buttplate when you shoulder it and place your head down on the cheek piece. However, it is a small amount of movement, and it's not wobbly. It just moves a little and stops as you mount the gun. In practical use, you don't really notice it. The LOP is a bit long. I can't remember exactly, but I think I measured either 13.5" or 14" with the buttplate completely compressed. I'm a big dude, so being able to get about 14.5" of LOP is fine for me. If you are of small stature, or you just like short LOP, you're not going to be able to get short with this stock. I found a relatively inexpensive and lightweight bag rider that I have placed on the little Picatinny section on the bottom of the stock, and that was also very easy to do. I have not shot the gun with this stock on it yet, but that is likely to happen this weekend. I expect it will work just fine for its intended purpose.
