This is a pretty good side folding stock, I didn’t have to make any modifications to my receiver like most others. I was able to install it with the upper rear tang still attached it’s just the flat tang not the one with the side walls so it barely had to flex to get it in there. It retains in the folded position and you can just wip it out and it locks up solid too.

Purchased this butt stock for a Century Arms C39V2. " Expert " answer on the website to several questions re. compatibility with this rifle responded in the affirmative. In fact, 'fit' to the receiver was not even close. Unless one has the appropriate power tools and expertise to mill the butt stock fitment is not possible. In this case the services of a gunsmith were required. Additionally, the retaining screw of the stock was far too short and had to be replaced. Finally, no directions for assembly came with the product nor could be found online. No complaints about quality , and ,now that it has been 'fit ' to the rifle (cost $50) , I am pleased with the result. I do not recommend this product for a C39V2 AK unless one has the requisite tools and skill to perform the necessary alteration or is prepared to spend for the services of a gunsmith.
