IMO currently the best pistol brace available unless you want to pay $250. Hard durable plastic construction, feels and looks just like a stock but it’s a functional brave. No more rubber and straps and it’s actually been approved by the …

The pistol brace is outstanding and does the job of keeping my 9mm ar pistol compact and is adjustable for length of pull, my only complaint is it’s the wrong color, but I can live with that, it’s makes the pistol good for home defense and tactical situations as well as training with at platforms with less expensive ammunition than 223/556. I am not stating that 9mm is cheap ammo these days , just less expensive to train with than rifle ammo

This one of the only pistol braces for the AR platform that actually works as a true brace. No funky straps and bs blade that do not brace anything. Simply push the brace open button and it rests under your forearm acting as a real fulcrum pivot point that allows the device to brace your pistol in a way that allows single handed firing. This a REAL BRACE. I have others that are not and won't use them any longer simply because they do not really work.I highly recommend the tailhook brace as it does comply with the rules.

Maybe I set myself up. Saw it on a couple of AR builds so I decided to order one. Had it within a week. It's very easy to install and love the ease of operating the brace. Its very comfortable and collapses easy. My only gripe and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has a little too much play. Stock rattles a little too much for my liking, would have loved for the spec to be a little tighter. Other than that, I love everything else about it.

We'll see what happens with the new silline4ss from the ATF, but as a brace, I dont think any other compares. And as far as one handed shooting….this thing is heavier than most braces, but its also sturdier and works perfectly for one handed shooting!

Featuring a foldout support arm, it effectively counterbalances muzzle weight and stabilizes pistols against the forearm, works well for shooters of various sizes with five adjustable positions. With a lightweight build of just 6.7 ounces and a width of 2 inches, it strikes a balance between size, comfort, and sturdiness. Its telescoping latch mechanism offers five length options, with the longest providing a 12.75-inch length of pull. Constructed from injection-molded GF nylon, it ensures durability for rugged use. The inclusion of a proprietary buffer tube serves some legal purpose… it's important to note that this tube is specific to the Mod 2 brace and cannot be used with standard AR-style stocks.
