Behold, our tried and true handguard design that comes standard on all GGP MKII rifles is available for the builders out there. GGP AR-10 handguards are extruded from 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum, finished with True Black Type III Class 2 Hard Coat Anodizing and are available in 15″ and 18″ lengths. The inside diameter is 1.380″ and uses a non-proprietary barrel nut that does not require timing. Simply tighten the barrel nut to 65 ft lbs, slide the handguard over until it is flush with upper receiver. Left and Right side index tabs ensure the handguard does not twist under use. Lastly use the two provided fastening screws to tighten the handguard around the barrel nut, at an approximate torque spec of 35 in lbs. The barrel nut is realllly tight. Cannot even start to thread it on an 1/8 of an inch onto the reciever threads without friction being applied. There’s already significant friction wear on my barrel from attempting to thread the barrel nut on. I’m not certain if they use a different barrel profile to accommodate this, but if that’s the case ecommerce or any store for that matter shouldn’t be ok with GGP selling this as a separate component.

Recently purchased a full grey ghost upper lower receiver and hand guard. Although the products are good quality, their name implies the customer service. Several emails sent requesting parts support, direction, product tracking and grey ghosted.Wish the customer support matched the product.

This hand hard is a DPMS high profile. Came with A cheapie barrel nut wrench. This hand guard will fit Arrow precision upper with about five minutes of filing on the anti-rotation tabs. I knew this when I ordered it so, No minus any stars. I like the non-proprietary barrel nut. one of the tricks for AR is using different torque on the barrel nut to work on the harmonics. the 18” Looks good surrounding a proof research 24” stainless barrel and it’s nice to be able to put the bipod that fare forward. And you can still get to the adjustment screw on the gas block. Assuming your gas port is +2 rifle length. Standard rifle length gas ports will need a very long Allen wrench.

Could not install as barrel nut ID was too small to attach 6.5 can barrel. SLR nut worked with no issue so isn't barrel out of tolerance. Would not purchase again as CS for GG was not helpful.when I called.
