You really can’t beat the quality for the price! Just what I needed to put a stock on my AR 22. Fit and quality are perfect! GUNTEC makes good products for good price.if you need a good mil-spec buffer tube look no further!

Bought to mount on a cheap 12ga. Also bought a Hogue stock and pistol grip, but since that package is coming a couple days later, I went ahead and installed and mounted up a cheap factory stock that came of an M&P Sport. The one thing that blew my mind was that it was a snug fit and didn't rattle around any. Factory stock on both my S&W and Sig AR's rattled like crazy and were replaced by Magpuls with the locking lever. I almost want to swap the tube to one of those other guns rather than keep it on a cheap Mossberg.

Due to the low to the surface threading on the buffer tube this gets a low review as it works in every other way. When you are tightening the castle nut the back plate knob that rides in the crevice of the tube itself will run over the threads, leading to the tube turning and your stock canted and able to spin.

When trying to install I noticed the castle nut was cross threading so in trying to get the nut off it stripped all of the “anodized” which is more like some spray paint. Very displeased with this buffer tube.

I bought this buffer tube to install on an Aero Precision lower. The tube threaded end was well finished so no metal slivers in the fingers. The stock adjustment is positioned straight down with threads hold the buffer detent in place and function is great. No problem with fit and finish on all parts included.
