Looks like a solid buffer tube with good spring and buffer. Also the color looks good and appears to be tough and resistant to scratches. I have yet to put it on my girlfriends AR yet, we are waiting for a few more parts so we can dip the lower and upper in FDE

Item was as described. Shipping was the only issue. I ordered another kit from a different supplier and amd received it well before this one shipped. Honestly thought I forgot to order this kit from optocsplanet.

Really disappointed with this buffer tubeOutside fde color but the tube itself is trash Looks like someone smacked few times and then they painted plus !!!!the inside nasty dirty Full of aluminum particles plus!!! The castle nut got stock with the tube threads at first!!Honest to god I will not send it backSimple I will just stay away from Guntec.

The internal finish of the tube is terrible. No exaggeration, really deep grooves and gouges. It looks like someone shot thousands of rounds through it. The buffer and spring seem pretty nice. Very Disappointed.

Much heavier made tube, larger and stronger nut. then the one that came with the firearm. used a aftermarket keeper with sling mount. Works good.The sling mount came form OpticsPlanet as well.We buy lots of gun products here.Thanks for the Good service.TC.

Like another review said, the interior finish on this tube is rough, unlike anything I've seen. Deep circular grooves and rough finish causes the buffer to get caught, even to the point that charging the weapon is nigh impossible, and when it doesn't it makes a loud scraping noise. Haven't shot with it yet, so I may change my opinion if things change, if I shoot with it at all.
