Nice fit/finish and it mates perfectly with Heras CQR front grip provided the front of your magwell is relatively flat. My only complaint is that the finish does not match my Hera upper(it does match mil spec uppers I have). It is close though, so this isn't a total deal breaker for me. Would purchase again.

This is a really nice handguard for the money! I bought this for my AR 22lr build and it looks great, the only reason for not giving 5 stars is because it sits about a 1/16 of an inch lower than my upper.

I don’t have the 7 inch version, but I do own the 9” and 12”. As someone who prefers quad rails over mlok and keymod, I have to say these rails are one of my favorite quad rails out there. The machining on them is nice, the edges are smooth and they lock up solid. Installation is very simple as no barrel but timing is required. My absolute favorite thing about these rails is how slim they are for a quad. The only other quad I have seen that is as slim as these are the ddm4 rails which cost around $400 give or take. I would absolutely buy one of these again and plan on doing so.

This is a great hand guard. It is a lot slimmer than regular quad rails. Another thing that I like about this handguard is the fact that it isn’t just rail all the way to the back it has a smooth spot towards that back which is perfect for hand placement. I would recommend this for the retro quad rail look.

7" Hera handguard is a quality German made product.It does not cover the gas block or about a quarter inch of the tube on a carbine length gas system,but no big deal.It tightens down with three hex screws on bottom and two set screws on each side that tighten into a groove on the stout well made barrel nut, which has two flats for wrench to tighten down.Two tabs on end slip into slot on the upper to keep it from turning. Rock solid.Very well made and looks really nice.Has 4 pic rails that are not sharp, and handguard is on the slim side. Get yourself one, worth the price.
