HERA IRSL aluminum handguard based on our established IRS design. Leather applications provide increased grip, excellent wear resistance, and a breathable, soft-touch surface. Our HFGL comes with a pre-installed 3mm leather cord. All HFGL handguards are compatible with Gen. 1 and Gen. 2 HERA handguards as well as HERA barrel nuts and can be interchanged easily. I bought this handguard for a 18" barrel DMR build. In a world of Mlok/Keymod/Picatinny rails, the leather gives this product an earthy, organic vibe. However, time will tell if the leather lasts in the elements.
