I may try a tritium version next, but this was so affordable I couldn't resist. I really like the way this fiber optic grabs my eye when shooting in daylight. In low light it looks/works just like any iron sight would. Simple install with a front sight tool. I need to grind a bit off of the threads to make it seat a little lower for better zero, but that no big deal. The threads were a tad longer than my stock sight post, but not totally sure if my 45 degree set up may be a contributor. For the price, you can't lose! Oh, and my aging eyes may be another reason I love this sight post…

Instal was easy and fast comes with all the tools you need makes getting on target fast and easy love it its the second one I’ve bought for my guns. I love the choices you get with the fiber optic colors and even has extra incase you some how break one.

I got this because the old eyes aren't what they used to be but the dot is to small to see on my mid length ar 15 . Might be better suited for my ar pistol 8 inch barrel. Be nice if there was more exposure filament.

I have always liked Fiber Optic sights, especially as my eyes age. This sight does offer the great visibility of FO, but the way it's designed affects accuracy. I think it's the way an AR-15 front post works makes this impossible to work correctly. AR-15 post can rotate slightly. This is not a problem with a single, centered, post. But when you have 2 post a slight rotation causes the post to appear to move from side-to-side. So this sight is just not stable in horizontal aim point.
