The Hogue stock for my Ruger 10/22 was very easy to install. Didn't require the forward clasp where the barrel and stock join; just the bottom screw. The grip feels great and prefect for outdoor plinking. Took it to an outdoor range and through all the dirt and sweat I still had a firm grip on the stock and didn't feel like it was sliding around in my hands. Since it is a solid rubber stock it is noticeably heavier.Pros: Easy to install/great price/great durability

Once again Hogue has nailed it!!! I own many hogue products and they never disappoint. This stock was exactly what I was looking for, and the fit and finish are outstanding. Installation takes about a minute and the result is perfection. This stock turns an otherwise clunky factory OEM rifle into a well balanced and comfortable shooter. Fast shipping. Good product. Had slight problem getting the action screw into replacement stock. Had to clean some of the overmolded rubber out of the bolt hole in stock. Once that was done, everything went very well. Good fit, good feel and I really like how it looks.

I have to admit, that I am a bit of fan regarding Hogue products and this one was no exception and did not disappoint ! The stock fits the 10/22 receiver and barrel like a glove and is a huge improvement over the Ruger OEM Stock in almost every respect ! I am also a big Ruger fan but perhaps in this case Ruger should consider buying their 10/22 stocks from Hogue.
