I was on the fence for a long time about buying this stock. My main reason to replace the original skeleton stock on my Ruger M77 was due to the sling set up on factory stock. I wish I had bought this Hogue sooner. The feel is great the same legendarily rubber feel as all of there products. Fit = we get a C+ for I had to open up the internal area where the trigger is. My gun however had an aftermarket trigger that does differ from the original. As long as you have some basic tools like a dermal tool or a small file you can make quick work of it. If your not a handy man type person I recommend paying a professional gunsmith to open up the trigger area if needed for your rifle. One take away is be advised you might have to make alterations to the gun stock internal. This is not a bad thing, its very common when replacing stocks to have to alter something to get that perfect fit. Finish = A+ I do recommend this stock, good price solid aluminum bedding blocks are nice this is a great product.
