So the last round bolt hold open has been fixed. Just had to give it more gas from adjustable block. This product keeps getting better & growing on me every time I take it to the range. The Aero lower is still pretty tight at the pivot pin but there's zero wiggle or slop / mushy going on so tightness is a good thing. I put the radian talon selector switches in FDE along with the griffin armament rail panels also in FDE on it as well as the SB Tactical SBA3 brace plus the Geissele super dynamic combat trigger. This might be my favorite rifle to train with and please trust me, I've got some very expensive awesome toys in the armory and this one might be my fav. Props to JG & there might be more in my future

Bought the 12.5" .308 upper receiver & paired it w / the Aero M5 lower & it's fantastic. Brought it to the range today for the 1st time & I was kinda shocked about how little thump & recoil it administered to my shoulder. It shot incredibly smooth and pretty much perfect. Didn't do any type of on paper accuracy shooting just CQB training & steel plate shooting. I'll get some quality match type rounds in her at some point just to see how the barrel performs. The adjustable gas block was set from factory almost perfect but the last round bolt hold open wasn't happening first few rounds then it broke in a bit then started holding open. My buddy said I should gas it a bit more so we'll see how it goes next time. The milling & machining of this upper is actually phenomenal & fits the M5 lower incredibly well. It's still pretty tight but has & will continue to loosen with time. You cannot even tell there's an upper / lower it's that well fitting. Monolithic looking. Again, how little recoil & smoothness is amazing. I have several 308 rifles incl a Scar 17, tavor 7, M1A socom CQB and now this and this one is easily the smoothest easiest shooting of em all w/o a doubt. The massive chunky 3 chamber muzzle piece certainly helps mitigate the thump too. All in all, do not hesitate to purchase this even though the JG name isn't well known at this point. I'm already interested in maybe more JG products in the future
