I was pleased with what I received. The product is very affordable and I didn't seem to have any cycling issue or malfunctions with my rifle.I would recommend. The buffer tube is well machined and simple to install.I will definitely purchase another for my next build

Bolt was to long.had to cut it off about 3/16. Other than that its great product

I purchased this tube and recoil spring/buffer for a 762 build. After opening the package I noticed that this spring felt very heavy.I proceeded to finish the build using this spring and buffer tube. Well I guess you know the outcome, it did not cycle.After measuring the spring and comparing it to a std mil spec AR15 223/556 I noticed a big difference in the coil spring wire diameter.It measured .080 mind you , a std AR15 .223/.556 measures .074. It might not seem a lot, (.006) but when you are compressing the spring to a specific length, it matters. It took almost 35% more pressure to collapse the spring to be equal to a .223/.556I have read other reviews stating this kit works great. I think this kit had the wrong spring In my opinion, this spring will only work on a 308 I will contact Optics Planet to see if they will exchange or refund my purchase
