I had a problem with an AR-308 build a while ago in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. I was getting pierced primers with a brand of factory ammo I was using. I didn't want to stop using this ammo as it was the most accurate ammo I had found for this rifle so far. Read a blog that recommended the JP's high pressure bolt for this problem. Got the J P Enterprises high pressure bolt and installed it immediately. Took it to the range the next day. And just like magic: no more pierced primers! Now I can continue to shoot my favorite one-hole ammo. So, needless to say, I highly recommend the JP Enterprises high pressure bolt for calibers like 6.5 Creedmoor and others. Very high quality machining and finish on this bolt. The firing pin is slightly smaller diameter at the tip, and a closer fit to firing pin hole.

If you shooting an AR10 and the brass looks like you are over pressured no matter what you do with your loads, then you need this. This thing is worth the money, plus it has all the JP upgrades (titanium firing pin, one piece gas ring, and re-inforced cam pin hole).

I have these on several MSR 10's. And any and all issues I've had are immediately rectified. No more extractor marks, no more ejector marks and the firing pin and bolt are high pressure rated. Do not misconstrue this to mean you can run overloaded ammo. I predominately run max loads after a ladder test if possible. And pertinent to cartridge and firearm MAY progress a bit over that, but not as a rule. I put this one in a 45 Raptor as it is recommended on may forums. And it was on sale.i have them in my 6.5 Creedmoor (BCA) and 308 (Also BCA) which both had bolt issues. These work and I highly recommend them!

I've installed these in several of my MSR'S. They have corrected issues with high pressure cartridges like extractor marks, ejector marks and feeding issues. I have them in the Valkerie, Grendel, 6.5 Creedmoor, 22-250, 22 Creedmoor and 45 Raptor. But don't misconstrue this, these are not meant to use with overloaded cartridges to correct over pressure. I highly recommend these bolts!
