I have owned the JP SCS and I actually prefer this product over it. It's just as quiet and much easier to tune with different buffer weights, I now put this in all of my builds and I have not looked back.

JP got it right. Dont be fooled because of the price point. It may not be expensive, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I bought 2, for two AR's that had that twang. This buffer spring totally took care of that product. The polished finish is nice as well.

This is a fantastic, well made spring. Highly polished and very smooth operating. I paired it with a tungsten Spikes buffer and they work very well together. Excellent part from JPEnterprises. I’d recommend.

Definitely an improvement in cycling at least for me. I felt like i just needed a little more spring tension in the buffer and this did the trick. Quality of the finish on these is outstanding! Cost effective improvement to your lower id say

I use these JP Tunes and Polished Buffer Springs on all of my AR platform builds. They run very smooth and quiet. When building an AR pistol, this spring used with an H2 Buffer seems to be the perfect combo. I have one on my 300blk pistol and my 556 pistol. Also I can't say enough about opticsplanets prices and shipping.

Smoothest buffer spring for the price. The instructions say to lightly coat them with lithium grease. I think that’s to keep the finish smooth. They are absolutely silent in all of my builds. I’ve used the extra power spring in my over-gassed carbines with H3 buffers and they eat up any ammo I put in them. I put JP polished springs in EVERY AR platform I own.
