Single stage advertised as adjustable between 1.5-5.0 lbs.The trigger is a machined aluminum housing/guard. It is delivered fully assembled and ready to install. The trigger group includes the KIDD mid length mag release and the KIDD modified bolt latch. Out of the box it broke at 2.0 pounds of force on my Wheeler digital gauge. I adjusted the trigger but found that it was a fine line between a light pull and an unreliable reset. Take care to get that right if you do adjust it. This is going into a target gun so lighter the better. I was able to get it set to 1lb 8oz which is the advertised lower weight; with a reliable reset, but it took some trial and error to get there. I put together a complete 10-22 with only a Ruger Magazine for factory parts. Considering the price, the included features, and the craftsmanship, I’d recommend this trigger.Oh, and the stealthy part is it looks stock, no race trigger pad to give it away.

The Kidd Single Stage Trigger Unit for Ruger LVT is phenomenal. I researched different triggers for this rifle and every review pointed towards the Kidd Single Stage Trigger Unit. Unit is well built and very easy to install. After the install is when you know you made the correct decision. Crisp, 2.5 lb trigger that makes the original trigger obsolete. If you want the best trigger for a Ruger 10/22, buy nothing but a Kidd.

Installed this into my Grey Birch Carbon 16.1 to replace the Ruger BX trigger that came with the rifle. Huge difference in smoothness and trigger weight. Tested just under 2lb with my Lyman Digital scale. The BX trigger tested around 4 to 4.5lb and was somewhat “gritty” feeling. Also nice having the auto bolt release already installed and a bigger trigger guard. Wait for a sale and spend the extra money for this upgrade.

Easy drop in install, crisp clean trigger. Love it.

This may be the most expensive single stage cassette style trigger replacement for the 10/22 platform on the market. It is simple, but easily adjusted with the spring replacement kit if the factory 1.5# setting is too light. Mine is consistent at 1lb 5oz, with no discernible creep, and the reset length being identical to the incredibly short trigger break length. The trigger shoe also has a nice geometry, same as the medium length magazine release. All parts are EDM wire cut, making them visually pleasing and mechanically consistent and flawless. For as nice as this trigger is, for the user it is simple. It took me a year to commit to this upgrade for my Bergara BXR Carbon because I gave the factory trigger 4 stars; it was 2-3/4#, but mushy. The BXR is not a good candidate for the trigger kits because of the proprietary trigger spring setup, not the traditional coils spring and strut; so you’re limited on which parts can be changed out in the factory trigger housing. I purchased the Kidd bolt buffer as well, which turned out timely because I damaged the factory buffer when attempting to remove after firing approximately 1,000 rounds through the original setup. There are no instructions in/on the Kidd packaging, but their YouTube instructional videos are phenomenal. The one observation is that I have hammer drag on my bolt when fully pulled to the rear, but in fairness I was experiencing this to some degree with the factory trigger setup so it is most likely a symptom of the geometry of the bolt.No regrets.
