The CP-R360 Cam Pin has no moving parts to break or lock up. Machined from 17-4 PH Stainless Steel and hardened to H900 (45RC Approx) its head is polished for a super smooth finish. The cam pins circular head has a single flat face machined into it at the front so that it can be inserted into any bolt carrier without having to remove the gas key. Two further flats are machined at 90 degrees to the front face that assist in reducing internal wear to the cam channel. The unique domed head allows the cam pin to operate in a completely different position to a traditional pin, with the radius of the head curving away from the receivers internal surface, rather than forming a hard or sharp edge on its upper corner that causes wear. Finished in its natural hardened state, copper/brass color. NOTE: Works on all Mil-Spec BCGs, 556 ONLY Specifications for LANTAC CP-R360 .223/5.56 Cam Pin: Manufacturer: LANTAC Gun Model: AR-15 Additional Features: Brass Condition: New Color: Brass Quantity: 1 Package Contents: LANTAC CP-R360 .223/5.56 Cam Pin

Im running an SRC Arms bolt carrier group, & upgraded the firing pin & cam pin with V Seven parts until i found this cam pin. I recently switched to this cam pin and even though the V Seven cam pin is very good and reduces drag & friction, this lantac pin is just more efficient at doing that. I am VERY happy with this, and would recommend it. It runs VERY smooth in the BCG & in the rifle. The one issue i have is that the domed rounded head is difficult to rotate to get it out of the BCG when taking it apart for cleaning. Other than that its absolutely fantastic.

Added this to a Stag NP3 BCG. I thought this bolt Carrier group was smooth cycling until I added the Lantac rounded Cam.. Wow what a difference… definitely will be adding these to all of my BCG's. Plus added benefit off reducing wear on the bolt and gun its a win win situation!

This little part is exactly what your bolt carrier needs. Its expertly machined , looks great! Fots really well, 2 second install. If you look at the Tier one bolt carriers , some utilized the roller style cam pin, this is the next beat thing in my opinion. Its a cheap upgrade to add that little something extra!

I was pleasantly surprised at, and impressed by the quality, design and fit of this cam pin, and now have one in each of my AR platforms. If I had more weapnons, I'd have more of these, too. Kudos to Lantac!

I came across this item as I was looking for parts for my latest build. I read up on it and although the logic of a polished rounded cam pin makes sense to me, I still wondered if it would really make a difference. It does. I used it on a build with a carbine length gas system and although I have an adjustable gas block, the action was still a little rough. When I changed my stock cam pin to this new CP-R360, it really smoothed out the action. I actually had to switch between cam pins back and fourth and manually cycle my rifle to make sure I wasn't imagining things. It works and I would highly recommend. I've only put about 100 rounds with it but once I get past 500, I'll probably order another one for my 7.62×39 AR build, which again has a carbine length gas system.

Previously I was running milspec cam pins in my BCGs until I eventually switched to the V7 enhanced cam pin. While searching for parts for my latest build I decided to go with the Lantac Domed Cam Pin since I've used Lantac takedown pins, Ultra Low Profile GasBlock & Lantac Melonite Gas Tube and I knew they have been quality machined parts from quality materials. I used this cam pin inside of Midwest Industries enhanced nitride 556 BCG in a Aero M4E1 Upper. The action is about as smooth as it can get and after a out 200rnds I still see no wear on the inside of the upper receiver and there's not much wear on the cam pin itself yet. I may buy another one of these to replace the V7 I have in my M&P15 and this will probably be my go to cam pin in the future. I didn't have any issues with fitment and I highly recommend this cam pin.
