I really like the backpacker stocks. I have been using the original ruger barrel with open sights because it’s threaded. I wanted the option to have another barrel with a scope so instead of buying a complete stock you can get the fore end. Matched perfectly!

It's annoying it doesn't come with mounting screw. Really the screw cost like 50 cent to add. It's annoying now have to track down a screw if I would have known it doesnt come with screw I would have brought at the time of purchase. I called magpul to ask if comes with a screw or not just to make it's not missing from the box. I got a dude telling me just use your factory one the whole point to order extra handguard is for a extra barrel. This is reason I just order then barrel part of the stock. Just include a flipping screw jeez.
