It is designed specifically for the Hunter 700 Stock and all short action caliber AICS (Accuracy International Chassis Systems) pattern magazines, and has a low-profile, anti-snag ambidextrous magazine release made of Melonite treated steel for wear and corrosion resistance. Designed to work with AICS-pattern short action magazines, this kit also includes one 7.62×51/.308 Winchester PMAG 5 7.62 AC magazine. Some triggers, especially those with longer and/or straight trigger bows, may not be compatible without modification to the trigger guard. In conjunction with the Magpul Hunter 700 stock, this mag-well kit is an easy drop-in option to begin accepting removable AICS standard magazines. Took less than 5 minutes to install, and I'm not that smart.Having said that, the mag release lever isn't as easy to use as I'd have thought and it takes a few seconds to swap out mags. Not a game breaker by any stretch, though.

Great setup a little pricey for the fact it's all polymer. But it's very handy to be able to tag mags to the range . Overall I'd recommend it again. It's a perfect addition to the Magpul Hunter 700 stock

I paired this with the Magpul 700 Hunter Stock on my Remington 700 BDL in .308 and it works perfectly. Put over 50 rounds through it so far with no feeding issues, mag drops, or accuracy problems. Excellent addition to any rifle.

Accomplished exactly what I needed. I had a completely blind rifle stock with the internal mag. I did not like loading/unloading through the bolt action. Plus the Magpul 700 stock looked way better & could be made to fit better to myself. So a win win for me. Definitely recommended if you want a more customized stock & being able to use a mag.

Bought this for a Boyd's At One Remington 700 SA stock. Worked great :)Had to do a little shimming because it seemed stock was inlet too deep. Will probably correct it when I bed the barrel and action. Tried it first in a Remington BDL synthetic and couldn't get it fitted to my liking.
