   I installed this on my Sig 716 patrol rifle. I wasn't sure if it would fit since I was installing it on an AR-10 but I had no problems. All you need is a roll pin punch set and a rubber mallet. Easy and worth while!Pros: Price and ease of installationCons: None

   From a quality and function standpoint, the Enhanced Trigger Guard is what you would expect from magpul. If you wear gloves to shoot, this thing will accommodate them far better than a standard trigger guard. It does "bite" a little, as a lot of trigger guards do. Depending on what grip you use it can leave a gap right over the knuckle on your middle finger. This is easily fixed by ordering a grip with a small "ergo" tab or if you already have a grip, there are inserts made by ergo that will work.

   Trigger guard has good quality and fit but the roll pin may the finish when you push or hammer it in. You might be able to crimp one end down with vise grips to make it a little easier going it. You'll also need a small allen wrench for the front screw. Don't use a hex key bit on a screw driver, you'll hit the side of the lower with it.

   This trigger guard replaced a cheap, straight metal unit. Not only does it look better, it fit properly… doesn't wobble at all. I don't ever expect to be shooting with a gloved hand with the rifle I put this trigger guard on, so I doubt that I will ever loosen the front set screw and swing it open. But if I wanted to, I can. Obviously good manufacturing quality. No burrs, tooling marks or mold seams.

   I just can’t stop talking about this thing. Seriously, my girlfriend broke up with me because I talk about it all day long. You can’t live without it. It’s mine, my precious. My finger slides in the trigger guard like a boss now. You are not cool unless you have this.
