While searching for good backup sights it's easy to see why magpul is so popular. Almost always in stock, not way overpriced and made well. Pleasantly surprised at how stiff the adjustments are and how low it sits while folded down. I would like to buy more and probably will because they aren't troys or stupid expensive.

This is a well built, high quality, and low profile sight. But it's a bit too low profile, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Specifically, the windage knob is so small, and installed so tight, it is very difficult to turn by hand. I literally had to use pliers to get it adjusted. The good thing is I seriously doubt the zero will shift now that it's set.

Absolutely love this sight. Easy dial turns with range distances make it easy to adjust for those longer shots. no more 8/3-2 or adjusting to 5 on old A2 style rear sights. Find the number and spin the wheel. Also able to use as a peep sight or Battle sight for 0-200, just pull on the peep sight tab to use the 0-200.

I've had good success with Magpul's ubiquitous MBUS sights in the past, but when I put together an SPR build I decided to go with something a little more solid and usable so that I could take off my optic and use my irons even at serious distances. I wasn't entirely sure if the big price jump over the MBUS's would be worth it, but all my fears were alleviated the second I opened the package. These things are build like tanks, and packaged far better than the lower-end MBUS sights are. I'm really glad I sprung for them. They work great. Just as good as a standard, fully-adjustable carry handle-style rear sight does. The elevation adjustments are extremely solid and positive. They're actually a lot easier to adjust than the normal horizontally oriented elevation dials on rear AR sights are. These are more than just backup sights; they're great sights in general. If you want to really use your irons and not JUST have them there for backup, I can't recommend these enough. Don't let the high price deter you. They're a truly premium product.

This product checks the boxes of what you would want in a back up iron sight (see pros below). In addition, I would say what makes this product better than many other iron sights is that when folded, it has a very low profile and fits perfectly above the charging handle on most AR 15 upper receivers. My only negative thought on this product is that in hindsight, I realized the adjustable distance feature is not really necessary, at least personally for me. I'm army, so I'm used to the USGI iron sights and didn't want to be without an adjustability feature when I bought this. But in reality, you are most likely fine with the regular non-adjustable version of these sights and can save a few bucks. Especially if these are being used as back up iron sights and not your primary sights. They adjust out to 600 meters as well, so if you are the greek god of iron sights and can shoot that far with irons, this will work for you perfectly

What can I say about sites. These sits have a rear site sit that is adjustable for both elevation and windage and I looked a long time and finally found them at Optics Planet. For the life of me, I can not understand why all tear sites do not adjust both ways. What do people/manufacturers think? It’s ok to site in for windage but doesn’t matter if you are shooting under or over your target????
