Highly recommend, easily installed and rock solid once it's on the gun. Not having to time the barrel nut is a nice feature, just torque and go. It's REALLY close to the bottom of my Ballistic Advantage gas block so I can't say if there might be clearance issues with certain other gas blocks but for my build it's perfect. I plan to put a 9" version on a future lightweight carbine build.

I think this Midwest industries rail is as about as good as it gets. You can spend more if you want but the quality and finish on this rail is fantastic. I put this on a m4e1 aero upper and it fit perfect . I will be buying more stuff from midwest .

this handguard is very well machined, perfect fit. one of the comments said it would not except a superlative arms adjustable gas block but it does with plenty of room because the top of the gas block rides up in the channel of the picatinny rail. hats off to midwest industries and optics planet

This thing is well built and looks great. Mates perfectly to my VLTOR upper receiver. Perfect choice for a SbR or pistol build. Quality product, will buy more Midwest industries products in the future.

I will be using this handguard on all of my ARs from now on. Sleek, simple, lightweight, strong, awesome but simple lock up system. Anti rotation tabs that look better than all other brands. The shape of the handguard is perfect for mounting a weapon light in the 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock position while still having a fron buis on top. Great finish. While still being cheaper than similar rails like BCM and Triarc
