My AR-10 didn't come with iron sights. I like the sights because they mount so easy on picatinny rails and they look good.Pros: Easy on Easy off.Cons: Not for long shots

The description must be changed to add that this is for a RAILED GAS BLOCK. Will not zero if put on the same level with the rear sight. IF you install this on a freefloat tube with rails you will not be able to zero. Again, this must install on a railed gas block gun like a stag model 3. This is all metal so should work just fine for that.Pros: Cheap, worksCons: feels a little cheap (duh) dont trust your life with it

Be aware of what you are buying when you by this sight. Look at the model number and read the description. It is designed for application on a lower height gas block. I own a DPSM Oracle AR15 which has a railed gas block that sits about .25 inches lower than the rail on the receiver. The rifle came without sights. The manufacturer sells a sight for $50+ that is not a flip-up. A sight that compensates for the height difference is not real easy to find. There is no way to zero this sight (#MARFLF) with a standard rear sight when applied to rails that are at the same level. If you have questions about whether a sight is appropriate for your application call the manufacturer and talk to customer service or technical services. For me, this is exactly the sight I needed for the lower gas block, and it has worked very well. It maintains zero after it is flipped up from the down position, and when not in use it folds down out of the way and ready for backup duty.

Optics planet has another win here with these sights. Solid material excellent packaging and easy to install. These sights are a great addition to any AR platform. Easy to zero. No problems. Would recommend.

This sight is not adjustable as advertised. You can see for yourself that there is no windage adjustment. The difficulty is that this sight is really made for a gas block that sits lower than the top rail.While trying it out today, things got very frustrating. Even with companion rear adjustable sight, even 20 up would not lay on paper. Analysis: the sight is so tall that rds fall short by 20 to 25 feet even at a paltry 100 yds. NOT for the top rail.Pros: Flips up and down easilyCons: NOT for top rail
