The Noveske CHF Chrome Lined Basic Rifle Barrel is a solid cold hammer forged barrel that features a 1/7 twist rate. Noveske utilizes a cold hammer forged blank with a chromium chrome lined bore that is machined to tighter than SAAMI standards. This combination gives the shooter a brighter sight picture, extends the lengths of the barrel, and improves the strength. Fun fact: the hammer and firing pin marks on a Noveske barrel are heat soaked from the forge; during the cold hammering process, tiny scratches and dents are part of the design. Each barrel is serial numbered, a true measure of quality control, and allows you to track your product over time. Actually, bought this on DVOR which is the sister site for Optics Planet, but the same item listed here. Bought this for a 300 Black Out Upper Build as a backup to my existing 300 BO. Used it with a 300 Blackout Trijicon Optic and it was awesome at the range whether firing Subsonic or Supersonic Ammo. I've also got it setup to use a Carry Handle Iron Sight setup as backup to the Trijicon Optic. Very accurate & reliable barrel and entire upper.
