This is a great product. Simple in design and allows you to adjust your cyclic rate and recoil impulse without touching the gas system. Plenty of options in the lite and heavy version to dial in a rifle with or without suppression. I am making this a standard in my build list going forward. I used this version to allow a 6" 300 Blackout to cycle subsonic loads reliably where a standard carbine buffer was just a bit too heavy and it worked in that application.
Nice smooth motion –
At first I didn’t really notice much of a difference but after some quick multiple shot cadences and more precise shots I did notice a felt reduction in recoil. I think with the right ammunition (using 62gr) I think you could put this in a 11.5-16 inch no problem. I’ll report back more once I’ve worked with it further

Bought this thinking it would be kinda difficult. Nope, very easy to work with and adjust. I put it in my .308 and have another in my 556. Haven't shot with it in yet. But I'm sure if it don't work right… I can always adjust it. Only complaint is, that the screw that holds the weights into the buffer, sticks out a tad bit too far and catches on the BCG when you go to break the gun open.
Redneck Vigilante –
My PSA was over gassed. Was throwing brass forward and had a funky recoil. I threw this in with the two steel weights and it shoot amazing now. Can string string together shots much easier and helps with muzzle rise as well.

I purchased 4 different buffers (normal, H1, H2, H3) for my first rifle to tune it for reliability when suppressed and minimum dot movement when unsuppressed (for competition). Then I found this adjustable buffer which costs much less than the total of those 4. I've used the adjustability for several occasions and it works well. I put a little blue loctite on the two screws (holding very well, but can be removed). I ended up buying more for my other rifles and "pistols".

I purchased the ODIN Works AR-15 adjustable buffer because I was having trouble getting my adjustable gas block tuned correctly. I had followed the manufacturer’s instructions that came with the adjustable gas block I chose for a new, custom AR-15 carbine build, and no matter what setting on the gas block, the bolt carrier would always fully cycle and lock back on an empty magazine. After consulting with the manufacturer of the adjustable gas block, I replaced the buffer with the ODIN adjustable buffer and repeated the attempt to tune the gas block. After progressing through the possible weight combinations of the ODIN adjustable buffer, I was able to tune my rifle for 100% reliability and minimum (virtually zero) recoil. Very pleased with the results.
