Deals just don’t get much better than this one. You get a complete Daniel Defense upper: Grip and Rip Charging handle and a high quality Bolt Carrier Group. Might be buying a 2nd for a different build.

I ordered this upper, originally wanting the one with the Surefire muzzle device, they were out of stock. No biggie I can buy a SF device and have it re-pinned and welded to my liking. Low and behold it arrives and I am shocked because it is the model I originally wanted with the SF device already pinned and welded!!!! Needless to say Im as happy as killer asian hornet outside a beehive! Now that $160 I was going to spend on the pin and weld and $140 I was going to spend on the SF muzzle device can go toward my dream optic…of course i'm spending my money with optics planet.

If you want a daniel defense, this is a great deal at the right time with the right code. Even if you're not looking for a daniel defense but want a quality upper this is a fantastic price for well recognized quality. Fit and finish is perfect after you clean off the shipping ooze. There's no play at all on a zro delta ambi lower with the standard takedown pins so I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Based on my sample of 1, I'd definitely recommend this upper. You can basically wipe it down, toss your preferred sighting system on, slap it on a your lower and you are ready to go.

The picture isn't quite correct. The upper receiver is black. This is my first Daniel defense product and I am not disappointed. The three-prong flash hider is properly clocked, the bolt carrier group is properly staked, the finish is very good. I did notice there was wear marks on the bottom of my bolt carrier group as if it had been pre-fired for inspection, I am actually glad about that. Everything matched up perfectly to my Palmetto State Armory lower, which is a compliment to both brands. The forward QD mounts on the handguard are perfect. If I could add pictures I would. I did file a complaint with UPS, they left the product on my doorstep without my signature, glad I was home at the time so my $1,300 upper wasn't just sitting for anyone to steal.

This is perhaps one of the best put together and well priced URGs on the market. With two of these now used in builds, I can confirm these are great quality uppers. Both have about 1 moa accuracy with good ammo. 14.5 pin and weld gives you the shortest length for rifle under the dumb NFA, surefire 3 prong is an excellent flash hider, it suppresses great with an rc2, rc3 is chefs kiss, no malfunctions with either, at 2500 rounds combined, and rails hold zero. Great price on them now too! Note, like every DD upper I’ve encountered, the rails were not properly aligned with the upper receiver, just use a solid optic mount to bridge them and re-torque.
