It is a decent looking end plate but the center location tab on the bottom of the one I received was to long. I had to file it down so I could get it on the buffer tube. Not the level of quality I would expect from a $30 part that costs over 5 times as much as the standard mil-spec part it replaces.

After using the first one I bought , I put one on every other scary black rifle in the safe. Phase 5 SEP is the best single point attachment in my opinion, most comfortable carry and ambidextrous. Well made!

Got it for my Diamondback DB 10 .308. Fit and installation was fast and perfect. Perfect angle and does not obstruct full retention of adjustable stock. QD holds tight and secure. End plate QD location raises rifle up higher when using single point sling option if you're using a 2 in 1 sling.

Real solid piece! Read reviews for some of the other brands that didn’t hold up so well and that’s not the case with this one. Not flimsy at all and I tried to pull the qd out and no dice. Priced just above the cheaper models but worth way more.

There are many similar products out there that also do the job. This one is just a bit nicer. Machining fit and finish is just so nice. The sloped angle of the QD port is perfect. It is just a simple common component that is perfectly executed.

Fit and finish is good. The OD green one i bought is colored nicely and looks great. What is really attractive about the Phase 5 QD End Plate is how the QD mounting point is angled and extended out to get you away from the buffer a little. Makes for swiveling and on/off easier. Mounting position of this QDEP on the typical AR type weapon is desirable and helps to balance when slung single pount or two point. I have several P5 items and yet to be disappointed by any of them.
