I have read that Hornady used Research Proof barrels when testing the 6mm Arc and I believe it. I am a fan of the 6mm Arc and own multiple rifles chambered in the round. I have used it extensively in hunting and at the range. My Research Proof barrel is easily the most accurate Arc barrel I own, often shooting half MOA. The quality is apparent both in the aesthetics and the performance. I paired the barrel with a JP Enterprises BCG and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend it.

It kinda started off a little bumpy as the first barrel I received was a open box…even though it appeared unused I scoped it and found some gouges in the barrel and returned with my complaint. OP quickly sent another and it was new in the box. I am a stickler for new expenses toys coming sealed in the original packaging. I am happy with the replacement and you really can't go wrong with a Proof barrel. They require a short break in period but are worth it for their excellent precision.
