Best charging handle on the market. Small latch resist catching or snagging on anything. It is smooth and easy to manipulate however that is not even the part that makes this charging handle shine the brightest. It minimizes gas blow back to the face significantly!!! worth every penny. If you do not run suppressed rifles, the normal radian or LT will be perfect for you. The one con to the SD is that it is expensive, but you do get what you pay for.

Was looking for a charging handle that is lower profile than most ambi charging handles. I’ve used Geissele and Raptors in other builds. This handle runs so smooth… smoother and slicker than my others.. not sure why but possibly because the smaller handles force you to grip closer to the center. I would highly recommend for any one looking for a charging handle with lower profile and reduced snagging… and this this is smooth!

I am not sure this makes a noticeable difference in my suppressed .300BLK. Regardless, the charging handle is very well built. It racks well from either side. With some charging handles I've had, they feel like they can "pull" a little to one side. This one was slick and didn't seem to have any play to one side or the other. Would surely buy again from Radian.

I purchased the Radian Raptor charging Handle to help with the gas in face of my recently purchased DD Mk18 when I added a suppressor It did help and I could tell an immediate difference and I also shot a video of me shooting a couple of magazines and you can visibly see the gas going out of the ejection port with the brass Also has a very smooth operation

The SD-SL comes with a finish that is smooth as glass. A proper upper receiver, a good buffer spring, this handle plus a thin coat of oil? Charging your rifle will feel like butter.The handle protrusions are the perfect middle ground length so that you can grip them easier than your standard handle, but not so long that they snag on all your stuff. If you have a large optic moved all the way to the back then you might need a larger lever handle.The levers themselves do have some resistance to them, they won’t nonchalantly unlatch from the upper receiver. They can even prevent your bolt from coming all the way forward if you’re guilty of riding the charging handle, but I’m not saying that is the handle’s fault.It does help some with gas blowback, but tuning your rifle is still needed if that is your reasoning for choosing this handle. If you already have a radian handle, I do not think the little side cuts on this would be worth the upgrade.

Running 300 Blackout Subsonic suppressed, I was getting a good bit of gas in my face. I could really smell it. Got this vented charging handle and it made a big difference. Buddy watching my ejection port saw most of the gas coming out of it. Highly recommend this charging handle if you are shooting suppressed.
