I've taken it to the range 2 times now and I'm impressed by the accuracy and reliability. Shoots the steel cased cheap ammo without a problem. One of the lightest and funnest rifles to shoot on the range. There were some fading spots on the handguard finish but that's negligible for what you get. I put a cheaper version of the vortex scope on it and it's deadly accurate. It's a great deal for the money.

The Radical Arms AR-15 7.62×39 complete upper is a light weight upper that works perfect for my hog rifle. After 125 round break in process (barrel cleaned after each round for 1st 25 rounds, then after each 25 round) the barrel shot 11/2” 3 shot groups at 100 yards using cheap steel ammo.

Purchased this Radical Upper in 7.62×39 to mount on a Radical lower receiver I already own. The upper fit perfectly with no issues. I have had a few jamming issues, but I believe these to be magazine and ammo issues. Overall, I am pleased with this upper. Fun to shoot.

The upper arrived a day faster than projected complete and ready to go. The fit up between the upper and lower was very tight. So close in fact that the 2 pins in the lower were very tight. They should free up some once the rifle is put into service. I bought some metal gas at the were a perfect fit – can’t wait to get it out on the range.

7.62 x 39, HBAR assembly, This is a good quality upper, not excellent though. I was excited to try this upper assembly out when received. The first time shooting it the handgard came off of the receiver after 6 rounds shot. Contacted Radical Firearms directly about the issue and was greeted very well. Returned the handgard only, not the complete upper, to Radical Firearms and they remedied the issue of an incorrectly installed screw that was too short and was loctited and not removeable. This particular screw should have been long enough to contact the barrel nut groove enough to not allow the handgard to come off. Radical Firearms had it back to me in about a week and a half with the original screw removed and the corrct one installed. Put it back on the receiver as needed and continued to brake it in. After about 80 rounds through it I have been able to achieve a shot group, 10 rounds, of 1 1/8" @ 50yrds using an Eotech red dot sight. I am confident that using a scope next, I will be able to bring this group closer to 1 MOA, at 100yds. I am pleased and impressed and it is made in the USA!!
