I purchased this barrel for a Colt 653 Retro project. It appears very well made and should work out well. You would be hard pressed to find this configuration elsewhere for a retro look. Good solid barrel
Hill –
Nice and heavy for good heat dissipation. Quality chrome lining. Front sight post is top dead center of twelve o'clock. The heavy contour adds the right amount of weight out front for controlability. Better than the original Colt 635 barrel. I couldn't ask for more!

This is the barrel for your high quality build! Good chrome plating from breech to muzzle. Heavy profile barrel that is .875" ahead of the chamber to .750" at the front sight post. Post is top dead center with the chamber alignment pin. No cant on this front sight post! The barrel at the chamber seems to have a bit more throat than the original Colt 635 barrels. This barrel is my "go to" barrel for select fire. It is plenty accurate as well!
