This Rosco Manufacturing 300 Blackout Bloodline Barrel was designed for SBR and Pistol use in conjunction with suppressors. This is the shortest that Rosco Manufacturing will go to allow you the flexibility of a shorter Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) without sacrificing performance or ballistics. Rosco Manufacturing 300 Blackout barrels were created by using input from SOCOM end users and some of the original creators of this caliber. Every barrel was designed to optimize the original role for the 300 Blackout; to be suppressor friendly and accurate. It is Rosco Manufacturing goal to get you the performance that you seek out of these AR15 barrels when running sub-sonic ammo or supersonic ammo (depending on barrel length). Twist rates, gas port diameters, and lengths have all been taken into account when we set out to make these. Lets just say that Rosco Manufacturing dont like leaving things to chance. 10.5 300 using aero enhanced upperand gas tube, bcm gas block. No issues suppressed or unsuppressed. 500 rounds no problem all factory new ammo subs and supers. About 1 moa at 100 using dot from bench. With scope maybe sub moa

I recently bought the Rosco 8.2 Bloodline barrel for a 300 blackout pistol build. Barrel is very well made with no visible machine marks and quality matching some and surpassing most more expensive barrels I have used. Every dimension from gas port to extension diameter were right on. An 11 degree crown is a bonus usually not found on a barrel at this price. I also use Rosco's gas blocks and will be using there BCG's in the future. Thanks james

Firstly I was very impressed with the packaging. The barrel came in a box within a box and was completely protected by foam surrounding the barrel. The fit and finish is flawless. A check with go, no-go gauges proved the chamber. I also like the gas block dimple which speeds up installation. Although I haven’t shot this build yet I will update this review if necessary.

Misaligned dimple job caused this barrel to be badley under gassed. Operates like bolt rifle shooting supers or subs both suppressed and unsuppressed. Looking closely at gas tube from above it is slightly angle from gas block to upper receiver. I discovered that the dimple at bottom of barrel is off of the 6 o'clock center line and causes the gas block screw to torque the gas block off of the gas port when tightened. Instead of hassling with the return process I'm waiting for a clamp style gas block to arrive. As other reviewers have mentioned qualty control is a Rosco issue. A product with potentially great quality is being sabotaged by sketchy QC. BTW this is my second Rosco barrel and the first has been 100%. This one unfortunately has been a dissapointment so far. A lttle less time on insta and more attention to product detail might help these guys.

Long story short, back in January I ordered all of the parts to build a new AR Pistol. This is 7th or 8th AR that I have built, so I'm really not all that inexperienced. I decided to go with a Rosco barrel because of the reputation for quality. When the barrel arrived it came neatly packaged, and that's where the good ends. The barrel itself just looked off. The fit and finish wasn't great, and the markings weren't straight, but I decided to install the barrel anyway. I don't really care that much about the aesthetics of something that is covered up by the handguard as long as it functions. However, It didn't perform. Sure, it cycled reliably, but the accuracy was all over the place. On a good day I am about a 1 MOA shooter, on an off day 1.5-1.75 MOA. With this Rosco barrel at 50yds just trying to zero, I couldn't even put a group together. I also noticed that just the act of cambering and ejecting a cartridge would deform the casing and leave deep gouges in the bullet itself.I reached out to Rosco, and was originally concerned that I had received a knock off barrel, their customer service actually got back to me in a timely manner, and I was informed that the barrel was a legitimate Rosco and the deformation and gouging was "Perfectly normal and wouldn't effect performance." Yeah right… but they told me they would replace the barrel for me anyway, but it would take 4-6 weeks. I agreed to that and sent them the barrel some time around the end of February. Granted, this is right before the Covid nonsense hit, so I gave them some leeway. around the end of April I emailed customer service again and was told the estimated shipping date would be May 29, so I waited until June and contacted them again and was told he would check and see. That was the last I have heard from them. It is now July and they will not respond to my emails. Maybe I am just a one off problem, Maybe I pissed off customer service? I do however think that five months is unacceptable. I feel like this issue will never be resolved, and have since cut my losses, ate the cost of the barrel, and ordered a replacement from Ballistic Advantage.
